Where In The World Have I Been

So I know I’ve been a bit MIA lately, but I’ve been doing a TON of travel for work.

Went to Montana/Wyoming for a bit

Then mozied on over to New Hampshire for a meeting and massage by Lake OpecheeIMG_7395.JPG

Then went over to Connecticut, visited some of my friend’s old stomping grounds in Milford

And lastly ended up in NYC, caught a bunch of Pokemon

Also took a mini break for a long weekend in Ocean City, MD with Danny 🙂

But of course with all this travel, and my barn’s tendency to be gone at shows all summer, I have hardly had time to ride Gracie! Literally 3 times in 2 months. Kind of a bummer, so I decided that until things slow down, I won’t be leasing Gracie after this August sadly. Just doesn’t make sense until my fundraising slow down and my real estate business picks up so that I can ride more often!

Having said that, I have been up to no good in the horse world 🙂

First and foremost, I went to the FEI event at Great Meadows before everyone left for Rio!

Karen O’Connor? Still unclear but maybe!
Letting the hounds cool off before the cross country portion, because #Virginia

Then Shelby,Vintage Virginia, my best friend from Belgium Laura, and I took a swing at polo

And Courtney let me trail ride her appy Vintage bareback, but sadly no photos. However, we did jump around on Berry, and got some great shots on her! Both of them were fabulous and so much fun to ride, but here are some of Berry’s finest moments (all photos courtesy of Courtney)

The longest spot! Whoops
“But why does Vinny get to roll and play in the field??”

Allegedly I should have a lesson this Thursday, so hopefully that should still happen (pending airplane delays, storms, political climate, etc.), and that will have been my first lesson in almost a month, so wish me luck!

And if anyone has any advice for what to do to stay in riding shape while traveling, I’m all ears 🙂
